New positive cases of Coronavirus cast doubt on the restart of the Peruvian League

In the context of the pandemic, the Peruvian clubs are preparing for the restart of League 1, which is scheduled for July 7, however, during the week, different clubs announced in an official statement, the cases that were presented in their respective workers after the tests carried out before the start of training.

In Peru, the discard tests of all the clubs began in the facilities where they will train. However, upon learning the results of the serological tests, several teams were surprised that there were positive cases within their facilities. The first to communicate them was Sport Boys, with 2. Later, it became known that they were confirmed on the Cantolao Academy, Deportivo Municipal, Deportivo Llacuabamba, Carlos Stein, Carlos A. Manucci, Alianza Lima, Universitario de Deportes, Sporting Cristal, Cusco FC, and Deportivo Binacional. Also, it was revealed that 16 referees also tested positive.
