«Gustavo Stereo» is available from today on all digital platforms, the album will feature the collaboration of new and established international brands and soloists, an excellent opportunity to meet new bands.
The Bela Records company is the same company that proposed that every August 11 be celebrated the “Gustavo Cerati Day”, thousands of fans have already signed the petition. Some have criticized the proposal because they believe it unnecessary, while fans assure that it is the best way to honor it.
On the other hand, National Geographic also has planned a tribute to the rock idol in Spanish, the NatGeo channel will broadcast a biographical documentary that was released in 2018. “Bio: Gustavo Cerati” records the life of the Soda Stereo vocalist, through testimonies of his colleagues Zeta Bosio and Charly Alberti. The documentary shows passages from Cerati’s family life: such as the house where he spent his childhood, anecdotes told by his mother Lilian Clark, and the participation of his children Lisa and Benito.
Another option is the online concert «Por Cerati», where 13 bands will meet to pay tribute to the Argentine singer. The virtual event will be broadcast on Facebook and will feature the participation of bands from Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru. The concert will begin at 20:00 (Peruvian time).
