Investigations indicate first symptoms of Covid – 19

Academics and researchers at the University of Southern California studied the possible sequence in which the covid-19 (coronavirus) tunes appear in the face of contagion. In this sense, these studies would contribute to the realization of a better j by health professionals to address cases related to this disease.

According to studies, the first symptom that the affected person presents is a fever, followed by cough and muscle pain, through nausea, vomiting and finally: diarrhea.

According to studies by the USC Michelson Center for Convergent Bioscience, it was agreed that this sequence of symptoms helps patients to isolate themselves and undergo medical intervention as soon as possible.

«Since there are now better treatments for Covid-19, identifying patients as quickly as possible could help reduce hospitalization time,» said Joseph Larsen, author of the study.

According to research, patients with fever and cough could be related to diseases such as MERS and SARS; However, if the upper and lower gastrointestinal symptoms are added to that, it is where it could be presumed that these indicators respond to the Covid-19 disease (Coronavirus).

It should be noted that the information on the order of these symptoms helps patients to assess for themselves whether they should take precautionary measures when they suspect that they are suffering from the coronavirus (Covid – 19). Given this fact, the professor and supervisor of the research points out: ‘This order is especially important to know when we have overlapping cycles of diseases such as influenza that coincide with Covid-19 infections.’ Doctors could determine what steps to take to care for the patient and prevent the condition from worsening, ‘he added.

It should be noted that the results of this investigation were carried out on 55,000 confirmed cases of patients with coronavirus in China, considered from February 16 to 24 by the World Health Organization (OMS).
