The Minister of Production Roció Barrios has tested positive for the Covid-19, as reported by the ministry and noted that the owner is in recovery, complying with security protocols (social isolation) and medical follow-up for its prompt improvement.
On the other hand, in the framework of the investigations for the economic reactivation, the ministry pronounced that the minister has been leading the accompaniment to the micro and small business sectors, in this sense, under the guidance of joint actions with the Executive to make reach support to local governments for the reordering of ambulatory trade in different sectors of the capital and provinces.
It was also indicated that the Government’s measures in the Loreto region are personally supervised, in which constant visits are made to bring medicines, protective equipment and human capital to fight with coronaviruses in the framework of strengthening health care in said Department.
It should be noted that the Executive has granted a two-week (14-day) license for the recovery of the Minister of Production, and for this the Minister of Housing, Construction and Sanitation, Rodolfo Yañes Wendorff was chosen to delegate these functions in exchange for Barrios sprayed.
The signature of the supreme decree to grant rest to the minister bears the signature of the President, the President of the Council of Ministers. Before occupying the Production portfolio, Minister Barrios Alvarado had been serving as executive president of the National Institute of Quality (Inacal).
