In the recent efforts of the current President of the Council of Ministers, Pedro Cateriano announced that today meetings were held with various benches of the Congress of the Republic; among them are: the Purple Party, Podemos Peru, Alliance for Progress and Popular Action, this in the framework of request for the vote of confidence.
In this sense, it is known that the prime minister will have meetings with the benches of Fuerza Popular, FREPAP and Somos Perú on Monday. Likewise, it was specified that the new Ministerial Cabinet will hold dialogues with any group or sector in the country.
The first meeting was held with the Popular Action bench, at the headquarters of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, in which the party’s president, Mesías Guevara and former legislator Víctor Andrés García Belaunde also participated. Following this, the PCM was attended by the Minister of Health, Pilar Mazzetti and Rafael Belaunde Llosa, Minister of Energy and Mines.
At noon, the prime minister met with Podemos Peru parliamentarians and in the afternoon with the leader of the Alliance for Progress, Cesar Acuña. Thus, for the night, the meeting with the Purple Party of the Congress of the Republic is held.
