Presidential Election: Poll Reveals George Forsyth is preferred

The national pollster IPSOS has presented (on July 16) a new panorama of the Evolution of sympathy and intention of votes (%), so that if the presidential elections were tomorrow and the following candidates were presented, there would already be a margin percentage in the intention of votes.

As the IPSOS graph highlights, if the elections were tomorrow, the first favored would be the mayor of Victoria, George Forsyth with 23%, whose growth has been considerable since April of this year, both for Lima and the interior of the country.

In second place is Salvador del Solar with 14%, the former prime minister has enjoyed relative acceptance since December last year, and although his name has been mentioned on many occasions, the percentage of votes still remains.

Then there is the congressman, Daniel Urresti with 9%, the legislator of Podemos Peru has been considered in recent months as a possible candidate for the presidential elections of 2021; However, it has not maintained exponential growth, according to the pollster.

Following is the leader of the Popular Force party, Keiko Fujimori with 6%, given the latest cases for which she is investigated, the daughter of Alberto Fujimori, has decreased in her intention to vote, between March and June of this period. In fifth place is Verónika Mendoza with 5%, the former candidate for Frente Amplio, has not enjoyed considerable growth in recent months.
