The Hildebrant weekly in its thirteen has disclosed through a report that Jorge Muñoz, mayor of Metropolitan Lima, hired his cousin to work in the administrative area of the Municipality’s management. 204 thousand soles are the ones he has received so far.
Apparently this would not be the first time, since between 2012 and 2013, when Muñoz was mayor of the Miraflores district municipality, Diana Álvarez Calderon also managed jobs for 135,000 soles as a consultant, according to the transparency portal of the Municipality of Miraflores.
The lawyer was appointed as the new secretary-general of the presidency of the Council of Ministers through a supreme resolution published today, 07/17/2020 in the legal regulations of the newspaper El Peruano.
His appointment, despite this known fact, was approved by President Martín Vizcarra and the brand-new Premier, Pedro Cateriano.
